I have never unwrapped it, much less run it.
This loco is mint, as I received it from my Lionel dealer, never out of the box except for picture, kept in a conditioned, nonsmoking environment. Definitely no flood damage.
If you require a warranty, should really buy new from certified dealer, not an individual collector like me. I stand behind the physical condition being as purchased except box damage described, but remember it is a 2003 built loco.
The box has a localized area of cardboard swelling, apparently from spill see pictures. You can google for more pix and specific operating details.
