Details:

There is some flaking to the nose decals, although not nearly as much on many examples you see. I am RCA after ship. The horn does work, but relay tends to stick, which can be rather annoying as a bonus, car comes with solid box that is complete and punch-out panel still solidly in place.

The engine is a good runner, but can definitely be improved upon with cleaning, oil and lube. Offered for offer is this nice example of the 2358 great northern ep-5 that Lionel made in 1959 and rare outer sleeve complete as well, with thumb tab still intact.

Operationally, this 2358 is in excellent condition. There are separations in a couple of places around the perforation. Both couplets are in working condition with good springs. There are also several scratches to the paint where gray mold shows through.

I have tried to include several pictures documenting these issues. I prefer to ship priority mail, but will other methods, billed at cost, if requested. You can use the shipping calculator for an estimate, but it is not always accurate.

It is in c-5 good condition, maybe a little better. The e-unit cycles smoothly through f-n-r sequence.
