I rate them c-7 excellent plus-plus-plus-plus. Will consider all reasonable offers. Post war best trains of all time. And horn works on command.
I guarantee it will run and horn work on command. Horn works factory fresh on command. Now thanks to the good doctor it preforms factory fresh and horn sounds loud clear on command.
My units are tested on layout after reassembling them test alone and pulling loads of passenger freight cars not a six foot straight track. In my opinion super collectable condition. I rate the mechanics c-8.
Tonally cleaned rebuilt I call it c-8 because as good from factory. Features: operating front couplets both work factory fresh non-operating rear illuminated headlight, number boards, cab metal steps dual ornamental horns motors contraction 3 position e-unit working horn oh what a feeling. Don't let this one get away. Made in the USA by Americans with pride.
They are tested to earn Lionel's name mine. Collectable set. Complete all original, no rust, missing parts, may show effects of being on display and or age, have been run.
Tested on my layout alone pulling four 2500 series passengers forward-reverse-neutral- perfect I guarantee all above. Ready for another fifty. Lionel post war at its best. Stay tuned in to this channel you never know what the good doctor will list next.

Added new motor brushes replaced light bulbs cleaned e-unit serviced all to Lionel specs. What they are really saying is horn doesn't work 40.
