I am offering this Mth southern pacific ABA diesel locomotive set in the Sp daylight colors.
I do not have a layout, so I tested the aa units on a section of track.
And, with 8 drive wheels and 4 traction bands, it should pull a nice size load. The loco ran well in f n r. I don't know much about fixing the bell problem.
The engine sounds continued for a bit after shut down but, the bell situation did not improve. I immediately heard diesel engine sounds followed by 2 bell dings. The whistle did not sound.
I have no boxes or instructions. Lights seem to work fine. When I tested the horn, it sounded for 2/3 secs.
I removed the shell from the powered a unit and found no battery. I obtained the 3 units at a collector estate offer.
The powered a unit alone weighs 5 lbs. I took a picture of the insides of the powered a unit see pictures.
I see no apparent physical flaws. I am pretty sure the non powered b unit is item with road number it only occurs when you hit the bell button. The aa units were listed as the set released in with protozoans and protocols.
When I hit the bell button, the horn sounded and would not stop until I powered off. Please be specific about what you want to see.
It still runs nice and looks great. FedEx gives faster delivery than parcel select and standard post and is sometimes cheaper.
I will check FedEx rates for USA buyers once I know your zip code. I added a 9v battery temporarily.
I don't have the knowledge and I am not equipped to do a lot of testing. I reversed leads and got a bell sound that would not stop.
