Good luck buying. Yes I found one more, this is the last one I have to sell, but I have another one on display on my shelf in the train room. This model engine has the best sound system ever produced by Lionel in my opinion. This is truly a nice like new set.
I am not a business, just a hobbyist, I have been a RCA member for 40 years, an lac member 37. Includes all original papers, the extra scale sized front truck, the extra wheels with rubber tires, the clear plastic control overlay marked steam, and a tube of smoke fluid.
I had planned to keep this one new in the box for some time, but unexpected medical bills forces sale. This engine was cataloged in 1997 and was the second of the highly detailed scale sized Hudson's produced by lit.
Also includes all original packaging and boxes shown. Please study the photos, they are part of this. Up for offer is a die cast Lionel number 763E cab number hudson steam engine and die cast vanderbilt tender. The wheels and tires are still in the sealed baggie, shown and packed in the tender box.
No sales outside continental USA. This loco will need to be lubricated prior to any extensive use, as it has been sitting for many years. This engine and tender have not been run except for testing its operation.
This engine is very similar to the 700e hudson, but has the newer Cullen disc drivers and has contraction. Shipping weight is 18 pounds. The whistle, chugging and steam sounds, forward, neutral, reverse operation were tested and found to be in excellent operating condition.
It also comes with an alternate scale sized front truck for display or for operation on o 72 radius track shown in on the tender box.
This engine and tender set includes an extra set of blind drive wheels with grooves for rubber tires supplied. It ran forward neutral reverse, the tender chugged, the whistle worked and there was steam sound at start and stop. No broken stanchions on the tender like so many of these have.
