This pair of diesels is in factory fresh condition. And now, nearly 36 years after their release - it is almost impossible to find a pair as nice these. While there are some yellow very light paint smudges on the left cab front, absolutely no other marks, or scratches of any kind aside from this Lionel factory flaw that escaped 1978 quality control.

Both units feature die-cast four-wheel trucks, with metal rails and a stamped chassis. This northern pacific U36B, powered and dummy pair of diesels was manufactured by Lionel in 1978. The powered unit features a powerful plumier motor with traction tires, and interior lighting.

Mint, brand new never been on the tracks or displayed truly condition old stock, from collection of a collector who acquired only very best. The pair was issued in matching white Lionel boxes. Shipping and handling - anywhere in us.

The units have been thoroughly inspected to insure there are no screw cracks or side-scratches where side rails sometimes come in contact with plastic cab.

Those boxes come with the diesels and are in like new condition scuff marks nicks commensurate their age, as only significant flaws.
