Set includes: steam locomotive 3189 type 4 tender qty 2 pullman passenger car, 8-1, 6 windows 1 observation 404 8 smaller ones on either side of. Overall this is in nice condition. This has been repainted. There ares no visible cracks or breaks to the engine body and does not appear be warped bent.
Markings: engine: American Flyer decal below the cab window. Pullman cars: these have been repainted. The pullman cars have blue-green bodies, silver roofs, and brass plates.
Tender: nice condition. Look to be in nice condition. Please view all photos, they are considered part of the item.
Tender: American Flyer lines decal, stamped on the bottom. The handrails, bell, and other brass copper pieces are all present. Wheels, drivers,etc. The headlight is operating.
I will combine shipping for multi-lot winners. Lights are working in 3 of the 4 cars. Engine, die-cast.
The running boards are highlighted in blue-green. The automatic reversing unit has forward reverse without a neutral position. Please see all the pictures.
The engine is die-cast, has brass and copper pipes fittings, but does not have a ringing bell. Af423 Lionel. There is a remote-control lockout lever behind the right rear driver and manual reverse extending thru whole just in front of cab. The passenger cars are pullman style, 6 window, 8-wheel.
It has been repainted. I will combine the shipping which saves you money. This is a vintage, pre-war set. Condition: this set has been refurbished repainted.
Appears one couplet on the 404 is missing tab that points down, does have slot. American Flyer prewar loco tender pullman cars 2x 3171, 3172, 404 this AF set features the 2 locomotive with a type 4. The motor works well.
Cars: American Flyer lines above the windows, pullman to left and right below windows.
